Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food production environment.
• Positive, upbeat and hardworking team player.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and work at a steady pace.
• Strong communication, presentation and attention to detail.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting.
• Availability for early mornings, weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Appropriate working rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist prep and production; wash, peel, and chop vegetables; portion proteins to recipe standards.
• Label, date and store products; follow temperature and food safety procedures.
• Clean workstations, equipment and utensils; dishwashing included.
• Unload deliveries; rotate stock using FIFO; organize cold storage and dry stores.
• Pack and prepare orders for dispatch to venues.
• Dispose of waste and recycling; sanitise bins to keep pests away.
• Open/close duties; deep-clean floors, degrease surfaces, prep stations for next shift.
