Job summary

The Point is seeking passionate Section Waiters to join our team in Sydney. You’ll manage a busy section, deliver attentive service and build genuine connections with guests in a premium dining setting.

Ideal candidates have experience in fast-paced venues, strong knowledge of food and beverages, and hold a current RSA. You’ll collaborate with kitchen, bar and front-of-house teams to maintain exceptional standards and contribute to a vibrant team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, premium dining environment.
• Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge.
• Confidence in managing your own section and delivering attentive, personalised service.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional approach.
• Current RSA and a sound understanding of responsible service.
• A positive attitude, strong attention to detail and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing your section and delivering seamless, attentive service from start to finish
• Building genuine connections with guests and creating memorable dining experiences
• Confidently guiding guests through our food and beverage offerings
• Working closely with the kitchen, bar and front of house teams to ensure smooth service
• Maintaining The Point's high service standards and contributing to a positive team culture
