Job summary

RJ Bathroom Renovations Pty Ltd is seeking a Wall and Floor Tiler to tile walls and floors in residential renovations across Sydney. You will read plans, prepare surfaces, cut and install tiles, apply adhesives, grout and sealants, and ensure quality finishes.

The role requires safety practices and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include coordinating with builders and trades, maintaining tools, and working across bathrooms, kitchens, pools and outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, or an equivalent recognised trade qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant tiling experience.
• Experience across bathroom, kitchen, pool or outdoor tiling projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret renovation plans and specifications.
• Experience using tile-cutting tools, adhesives, grout and tiling equipment.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, tile installation, waterproofing, grouting and finishing techniques.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport to attend residential job sites across Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Read renovation plans and specs; measure surfaces and mark tiling areas.
• Prepare walls, floors, wet areas and pool surrounds for tiling.
• Remove old tiles, grout and adhesives; level surfaces.
• Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass and mosaic tiles.
• Cut and shape tiles to fit corners, edges, drains and fixtures.
• Apply grout and sealants; finish tiling to high quality standards.
• Maintain safety and coordinate with builders and trades.
