S N Y Tiling Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based tiling specialist, seeks an experienced Wall & Floor Tiler to work on duplex and large-scale residential projects across the Sydney metropolitan area, including luxury homes.

The role involves surface preparation, measurement, tile layout, cutting, adhesive application, grouting, sealing, and finishing with trims and expansion joints, while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to quality workmanship and surface preparation.
• Physical fitness to perform tiling tasks including kneeling, bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, level, waterproof and clean areas for tiling.
• Measure, mark and lay out tile patterns; cut tiles to fit around fixtures.
• Mix adhesives, apply and grout tiles; seal and finish surfaces.
• Install expansion joints, trims and edging; inspect work for accuracy and quality.
• Read plans for multi-unit and large-scale residential builds; maintain tools and keep site safe.
