Job summary

Ironjack Industries, Dubbo NSW, is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler for a full-time role. You will install wall and floor tiles for residential and commercial projects with precision and craftsmanship.

The position requires 3+ years tiling experience, a White Card, and strong knowledge of adhesives, grouts, and waterproofing. You will work on-site, follow plans, maintain safety, and contribute to high-quality finishes across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• White Card / Construction Induction Card is required or eligible to obtain one.
• 3+ years of experience in wall and/or floor tiling on residential and/or commercial projects.
• Solid understanding of tile types, adhesives, grouts and waterproofing systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and level surfaces for tile installation, including substrate assessment and remedial work.
• Measure and cut tiles to fit spaces and designs using manual and power tools.
• Apply adhesive and mortar and ensure proper tile adhesion and longevity.
• Install wall and floor tiles following patterns with even grout lines.
• Grout tiles ensuring waterproofing and a clean finish.
• Seal and finish tiled surfaces per project specs.
• Maintain health and safety on site and use PPE correctly.
• Inspect completed work and rectify defects promptly.
• Communicate with site supervisors and other trades for timelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
