Job summary

Mirvac is seeking a Facility Manager to lead the operational performance and maintenance of premium building services at 55 Collins Street. You will drive strong relationships with stakeholders, manage risks, and oversee capital and operational budgets to deliver safe and sustainable outcomes.

You will lead a team, ensure compliance with NCC and HSE standards, and coordinate with contractors to maintain asset performance, with on-call duties and weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities management experience across building ops and maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• People management experience with coaching and development.
• Experience in high-volume environments with competing priorities.
• Knowledge of Australian standards, NCC, HSE, DDA and risk management.
• Practical BMCS systems knowledge and contract schedule oversight.
• Commercial/financial understanding and vendor payment oversight.
• Technical qualifications or trade background are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance and maintenance of building services.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure timely communication.
• Identify risks and implement strategies to mitigate impact.
• Support development and delivery of projects with safety and sustainability focus.
• Contribute to asset plans and capex budgets; monitor forecasts.
• Inspect plant/equipment daily to ensure occupancy readiness.
• Review proposed works for compliance with specs and NCC/standards.
• Prepare scopes of work for operational or minor capital projects.
• Escalate critical service interruptions and manage impacts.
• Manage contractors per Mirvac policies and performance expectations.
• Provide leadership to develop team skills and engagement.
• Adhere to policies and reporting/compliance requirements.
• Assist with annual Fire Safety Compliance certification.
• Be on call 24/7 and operate as Duty Manager as needed.
• Collaborate to ensure data integrity and portfolio-wide efficiencies.
