Job summary

Mirvac Group is seeking a Maintenance & Capital Works Manager to lead the upkeep and operation of building services across assets, ensuring properties are presented to the highest standard and operated cost-effectively.

The role focuses on safety, customer service, and capital expenditure planning, with hands-on duties and a key emphasis on stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional outcomes for tenants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-volume maintenance roles.
• Experience with BMCS systems and building services.
• Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by building relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring timely responses to requests.
• Daily inspection of all plant and equipment to ensure readiness for occupancy/trade.
• Maintain asset areas to the highest presentation standard and safety levels.
• Daily review and proactive identification of maintenance and repair requirements.
• Hands-on work including patching and painting, carpentry, cabinetry repairs, landscaping, whitegoods fault inspections.
• Assist in managing contractors and service providers to Mirvac policies and performance.
• Support risk mitigation strategies and safe, sustainable project delivery.
• Contribute to meeting Strategic Asset Plan objectives for assets.
• Create and approve work orders, service and minor capital works contracts within delegated limits.
• Assist with scope of works for planned operational or minor capital projects.
