Makibe Australia Pty Ltd in Ingleburn, NSW, is seeking a skilled Workshop Bench Technician/Fitter to join our team. This full-time role involves maintaining, assembling and repairing mechanical components with precision in a busy workshop.

You will perform bench fitting, drilling, grinding, testing and inspection, calibrate tools, troubleshoot mechanical issues and document work while collaborating to meet project deadlines and maintain safety standards.

Formación

• Proven experience as fitter, machinist or bench technician in a manufacturing/workshop environment.
• Strong proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of workshop practices, safety procedures and quality control standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and methodical approach.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform precision bench fitting work including filing, drilling, grinding and finishing operations.
• Test and inspect completed work to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate workshop tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify solutions.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Document completed work and maintain accurate records.
