Protecnium is seeking a Precast Shift Supervisor to oversee daily production activities at our Adelaide precast yard on a major transportation infrastructure project. You will ensure work aligns with project specs, quality standards, and delivery schedules while coordinating with the Precast Superintendent, engineers, QA, planners and logistics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Precast Shift Supervisor in tunnels, highways, bridges, heavy civil construction, or similar.
• Supervisory experience in precast concrete production or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of precast manufacturing methodologies and production sequencing.
• Experience coordinating large work crews and multiple production activities simultaneously.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Trade qualification or construction background highly regarded.
• Willingness to work a rotating day / night - 7/3 - 7/4 roster.

Protecnium is an international firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for aPrecast Shift Supervisor to join our team on aMajor Transportation Infrastructure Project in Adelaide, South Australia.

-Location: Adelaide, South Australia.

-Working Hours: 7/3/7/4 rotational 12-hour shift

-Estimated Duration: 1 year- In general, when the project ends, we try to relocate the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.

-Summary:you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities across the precast yard and ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules. Working closely with the Precast Superintendent, Engineers, QA teams,

planners and logistics personnel, you will assist in driving operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. This role requires a proactive and solutions-focused leader who is comfortable managing a workforce with a diverse skillset, coordinating multiple work fronts and maintaining production momentum within a fast-paced project environment.

-Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Precast Shift Supervisor in tunnels, highways, bridges, heavy civil construction, or similar.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within precast concrete production or heavy manufacturing
• Strong understanding of precast manufacturing methodologies and production sequencing
• Experience coordinating large work crews and multiple production activities simultaneously
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
