Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a hands-on leader to coordinate precast production crews and daily yard activities on a rotating 7/3 and 7/4 day/night roster.

You will oversee mould preparation, reinforcement, pours, curing, finishing and report on output, efficiency and safety. The role requires strong planning, supervision experience in precast or heavy manufacturing, and the ability to mentor workers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in precast concrete production or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production sequencing and precast manufacturing methods.
• Experience coordinating substantial crews and concurrent activities.
• Understanding of workplace safety obligations and safe work practices.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving under delivery pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mould preparation, reinforcement, pours, curing, stripping and finishing.
• Allocate crews, equipment and materials to meet daily and weekly production plans.
• Monitor output, bottlenecks and labour productivity and resolve operational issues.
• Lead pre-starts and toolbox discussions and maintain safe handling and product quality.
• Keep shift reports and production records, mentor workers and improve cost, quality and workflow performance.

The Opportunity
