Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Sales Engineer to qualify opportunities, deliver technical presentations, and support evaluations for customers and partners. You will work with cross-functional teams to showcase value, participate in POC activities, and help prioritize features based on customer input. A hybrid workplace supports work-life harmony and collaboration.

You’ll travel up to 25% to engage with clients and build credibility through demonstrations and technical expertise.

Qualifications

Experience with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools.
Ability to deliver technical presentations/demos to clients or teams.
Creative thinker able to tackle varied technical challenges daily.
Background in Windows or Linux systems administration.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

Partner with the sales team to articulate the Datadog value proposition and strategy to customers.
Continually learn new technology to build competitive knowledge and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations with potential clients.
Liaise with the product team to contribute feature requests.
Assist customers onboarding the product and resolve roadblocks.
Address a range of technical challenges across the pre-sales lifecycle.
