Crystalbrook Aurora in Canberra invites an exceptional Executive Chef to shape its culinary identity from day one. You will lead all kitchen operations, inspiring a high-performing team while delivering innovative menus and memorable dining experiences.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will champion local produce, manage food costs, and collaborate across departments to drive guest satisfaction and commercial success in a premium hotel opening environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Executive Chef or senior chef in a premium hotel or dining venue.
• Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing teams.
• Strong appreciation for local produce, seasonality and elevated dining experiences.
• Sound commercial capability across food cost management, rostering and kitchen performance.
• Experience in pre-opening environments or building new concepts is advantageous.
• Experience in conferences and events is an asset.
• Collaborative across departments.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and sustainability.
