Job summary

Tony White Group in Brisbane's Geebung area is seeking a reliable Pre-Delivery Yard Hand to ensure new vehicles are prepared for delivery and presented immaculately. The role runs Monday to Friday within a busy dealership environment, with responsibilities across inspection, cleaning, and yard movement.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on attention to detail and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all new vehicle arrivals for transport or transit damage
• Remove protective plastic covers inside and out
• Wash and shammy vehicles to identify any paint or body issues
• Check‑in vehicles, tag, and collect books and keys
• Move vehicles around the yard and to various onsite locations
• Drop vehicles off to offsite sublets or suppliers as required
• Assist with general yard presentation and organisation

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Pre-Delivery Yard Hand to join our busy team in Geebung.

You’ll play a key role in preparing new vehicles for delivery, ensuring each one looks immaculate and ready for its new owner.

This job will be Monday-Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect all new vehicle arrivals for transport or transit damage
• Remove protective plastic covers inside and out
• Wash and shammy vehicles to identify any paint or body issues
• Check‑in vehicles, tag, and collect books and keys
• Move vehicles around the yard and to various onsite locations
• Drop vehicles off to offsite sublets or suppliers as required
• Assist with general yard presentation and organisation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• High attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar yard or automotive role (preferred, not essential)
