Job summary

Kloster Motor Group, part of Australia’s largest family-owned automotive retail group, is seeking a reliable Driveway Attendant for its Vehicle Logistics team in Wickham and Hamilton North. You will move, inspect and park vehicles, keep records up-to-date, and support Pre-Delivery and Used Vehicle Reconditioning operations.

Suitable candidates enjoy outdoor work, have a NSW driving licence, and show reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NSW driver's licence, with confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
• High level of reliability, honesty and attention to detail.
• Enjoys outdoor work and being on your feet all day in varying weather.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage, missing items and discrepancies.
• Safely drive, park, organise and retrieve vehicles within holding yard and facilities.
• Assist with management, storage and retrieval of vehicle keys.
• Coordinate vehicle movements to support Pre-Delivery and Used Vehicle Reconditioning operations.
• Assist with vehicle battery charging and general stock maintenance.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and locations using computer systems.
• Keep storage areas clean, organised and efficient.
• Work closely with team members and departments to ensure vehicles are available when required.

The Newcastle & Hunter Division of TWG employs over 400 staff across 11 leading vehicle brands and 17 dealerships located in Hamilton, Cardiff, Rutherford, and Raymond Terrace. Our operations also include Parts Distribution, Predelivery, and Used Vehicle Reconditioning facilities based in Wickham, NSW.

The Opportunity

Kloster Motor Group is seeking a reliable and motivated Driveway Attendant to join our Vehicle Logistics team at our vehicle holding yards in Wickham and Hamilton North.

This is a hands‑on, predominantly outdoor role where you'll spend your day moving, inspecting, parking and retrieving vehicles across our facilities. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you'll play an important role in ensuring new and used vehicles are accurately recorded, safely stored and ready when needed.

You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of vehicles from some of Australia's leading automotive brands.

While an interest in cars is an advantage, what matters most is your reliability, attention to detail and willingness to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Commitment to safe working practices and being a supportive team member.
• Previous experience in automotive, logistics or vehicle handling is an advantage, but not essential.
