Job summary

Illawarra Toyota is seeking a motivated Pre-Delivery Team Member to support our busy Pre-Delivery department. You will help ensure new vehicles are received, prepared, and delivered to the highest standards.

Working in a hands-on role, you will check in stock, perform quality checks, and coordinate deliveries while liaising with internal teams to keep every vehicle ready on time and presented to Toyota standards.

Qualifications

• Previous vehicle detailing or automotive experience preferred, but not essential.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in work.
• Organised and able to manage multiple vehicles and priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Check in and receive all new vehicle stock arrivals.
• Perform quality control checks on new vehicles prior to delivery.
• Ensure vehicles meet Illawarra Toyota and Toyota standards.
• Assist detailing team when required.
• Coordinate booking and preparation of retail and fleet deliveries.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure vehicles are ready on time.
• Identify and report quality or presentation issues before delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organised delivery area.
• Support the Pre-Delivery team with day-to-day operations.

Illawarra Toyota is looking for a motivated and reliable Pre-Delivery Team Member to join our busy Pre-Delivery department.

This is a hands‑on role responsible for helping ensure our new vehicles are received, prepared and delivered to our customers to the highest possible standard.

About the Role

Working as part of our Pre-Delivery team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Checking in and receiving all new vehicle stock arrivals
• Completing quality control checks on all new vehicles prior to customer delivery
• Ensuring vehicles are presented to the required Illawarra Toyota and Toyota standards
• Assisting the detailing team when required
• Helping coordinate the booking and preparation of retail and fleet new vehicle deliveries
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery on time
• Identifying and reporting any quality or presentation issues before vehicles reach the customer
• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional vehicle delivery area
• Supporting the wider Pre-Delivery team with day-to-day operations

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous vehicle detailing or automotive experience – preferred, but not essential
• Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in their work
• Is organised and able to manage multiple vehicles and priorities
• Has excellent communication skills and works well as part of a team
• Is reliable, punctual and takes ownership of their responsibilities
• Has a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
• Holds a current driver's licence
• Is comfortable working in a fast‑paced automotive environment
