Job summary

Tassal Operations in Proserpine invites applications for a Feed Technician position in a picturesque outdoor setting. You will tend to saltwater ponds and ensure prawns receive proper feed while collaborating with farming teams.

No aquaculture experience required; on-the-job training and development opportunities are offered. Based between Airlie Beach and Bowen, a 2/2/3 lifestyle roster supports exploring the Whitsundays.

Qualifications

• Current manual driver’s license with own transport to site.
• High risk license (desirable).
• Forklift license (desirable).
• Great attention to detail.
• Comfortable with tablets and apps.
• Reliable and able to commit to full prawn season.
• Physical fitness for hot, humid, and wet environments.

Responsibilities

• Fill feed trucks, distribute feed to AQ1 feeders, and ensure optimal feed management.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures while performing tasks.
