Job summary

Westview Medical Centre in Werribee, VIC is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team in a full-time role. You will deliver high-quality patient care, support clinical operations, and engage in health education across diverse ages and conditions.

Responsibilities include wound care, vaccinations, vital signs, and assisting GPs. We prioritise infection control, patient safety, and documentation while offering professional development and an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current registration with ANMAC as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in a general practice setting.
• Knowledge of immunisation administration and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including wound management and infection control.
• Administer vaccinations and immunisations per national schedules.
• Take vital signs and record clinical observations.
• Assist GPs with clinical procedures and examinations.
• Conduct health screenings and preventive health assessments for patients of all ages.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention and chronic disease management.
• Manage patient flow and clinic operations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, health and safety regulations, and privacy requirements.
• Support care plans and follow-up procedures.
