Job summary

Healesville Medical Centre VIC is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly, well-established general practice in Healesville on a part-time basis.

You will work closely with our GPs and admin team to support high-quality patient care, including chronic disease management, immunisations, health assessments, preventative health, recalls, minor procedures, stock management and infection control.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Experience in general practice nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in preventative health and long-term patient care.

Responsibilities

• Chronic disease management (Care Plans, Health Assessments)
• Immunisations and wound care
• Health assessments (75+, Aboriginal, GPCCMP support)
• Preventative health and recalls
• Assisting with minor procedures
• Stock management and infection control
• Supporting practice systems and quality improvement
