Job summary

CQ Medicentre is seeking a(n) EN or RN to join our Nursing Team in a casual role, with potential for part-time permanency. Experience in general practice is desirable but not essential.

You will support vaccinations, wound care, triage, minor procedures and chronic disease management across our Rockhampton clinics. The successful applicant must hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and work collaboratively to provide person-centred care, prioritising safety, teamwork and high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Eligible nurses must hold unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Provide support across vaccinations, wound care, triage, minor procedures and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Team to deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate clinical care in multiple areas.
• Assist in vaccination clinics and minor procedures.
• Support the Practice Manager and Team Leader to ensure best practice outcomes.

Job description

CQ Medicentre is seeking either anEN or RN (ideally with General Practice experience but not essential) to join our Nursing Team in a casual role. Consideration to a permanent part-time position would also be offered should the candidate have a preference for this.

Applicants will be required to provide support to a variety of clinical areas, including vaccinations, wound care, triage, minor procedures and chronic disease management.

CQ Medicentre is a multi-site practice situated on both the Northside and Southside of Rockhampton in Central Queensland.

The successful Nurse will holdAHPRA registration (without restrictions)to deliver safe, compassionate clinical care. They'll be required to work collaboratively with the team to achieve best practice patient outcomes, prioritising person-centred care to patients, families and carers through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
