Job summary

Permanent part-time position (4 days per week) at Star Street Medical Centre, a busy, well-established general practice in Macksville. The Practice Nurse will perform mixed clinical nursing duties and contribute to chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Wound care, suture removal, injections, ECGs, spirometry, ABPIs, iron infusions, venesections, and assisting with procedures
• Chronic disease management including Health assessments and care plan preparation

About you

• Registered Nurse preferred (Enrolled Nurses are welcome to apply)
• Nurse Immuniser qualification preferred. Applicants without this qualification must be willing to complete the required training
• Compassionate, organised and able to thrive in a busy environment
• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• General practice experience is an advantage, but not essential
