Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with GP experience (1+ year).
• Immunisations for children and adults.
• Infusions including iron and IV fluids.
• Chronic disease management and care plans.
• ECGs and health assessments.
• Assist with telehealth consultations as required.
• Assist doctors with clinical procedures.
• Maintain clinical documentation.
• Coordinate treatment room daily (stock, sterilization).
• Infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Immunise patients (childhood and adult).
• Administer infusions and IV fluids.
• Manage chronic disease care plan implementation.
• Perform ECGs and health assessments.
• Support telehealth consultations.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate daily treatment room operations and sterilization.
• Ensure infection control standards are followed.
• Provide patient reassurance and friendly service.

Job Category: Part-time.

We are looking to grow our friendly and patient-focused team and require an experienced Practice Nurse to join us at our new, state-of-the-art medical practice.

This role would suit a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in General Practice focusing on:

• Immunisations including childhood and adult immunisations.
• Infusions including but not limited to iron infusions and IV fluids.
• Chronic disease management and care plans.
• ECGs.
• Conduct health assessments.
• Assist with telehealth consultations as required.
• Assist doctors with clinical procedures
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation.
• Daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments, and equipment.
• Implementing and practicing infection control.
• Ability to provide support and reassurance to patients, being the friendly face they will grow to trust
