Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking a Practice Manager for Bupa Dental Hunters Hill to lead the practice team and ensure smooth, efficient operations in collaboration with the Practice Development Manager and Practice Principal. You will drive patient experience, staff performance, and financial stewardship.

You’ll bring experience in health management and dental practice administration, strong communication, and people-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Practice Manager or strong health management background.
• Proven business and people management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, administrative, and time-management skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service abilities; strong business acumen.
• Knowledge of generating revenue and controlling costs.
• Confident handling of difficult conversations and issue resolution.
• Comfort engaging with dentists, patients and the practice team.
• Experience in understanding and managing the practice P&L.

The purpose of this job is…

The Practice Manager will lead the Practice Team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice operation in collaboration with Practice Development Manager and Practice Principal.

What you’ll need to make it possible

• Experienced as a Dental Practice Manager or have a strong background in health management
• Experienced in business and people management
• Proven in organisational, administrative, and time-management skills
• Exceptional in communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities, with strong business acumen
• Knowledgeable in generating income and controlling costs
• Confident in handling difficult conversations and resolving issues promptly
• Comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
• Experienced in understanding and managing the practice P&L
