Job summary

ForHealth Group in Kedron is seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead a busy GP practice during a period of growth and transformation. You will balance operational excellence with business development and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will manage daily operations, recruitment, budgets, reporting and accreditation. You’ll lead a high-performing admin and nursing team, drive patient growth, and support renovation and expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Practice Manager in a General Practice.
• Proven growth and development of a medical practice.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Leading the daily operations of a GP practice.
• Supporting practice growth through GP recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Driving patient and business growth strategies.
• Leading and developing a high-performing administration and nursing team.
• Managing budgets, reporting, rostering, and operational performance.
• Building strong relationships with GPs, patients, support office teams, and external stakeholders.

As our practice prepares for upcoming renovations and expansion, including the addition of new GPs and services, we are seeking a confident leader who can successfully balance operational excellence with business growth initiatives.

This role will suit an experienced Business Manager who has a strong background within General Practice and enjoys developing high-performing teams, building stakeholder relationships, and supporting practices through periods of change.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the practice while identifying opportunities to support growth, improve patient experience, and drive business performance.
