Job summary

Mivada is seeking an experienced technology leader to run the Automation, Cloud & Engineering (ACE) practice. You will lead an onshore and offshore team of 43 engineers and automation experts, providing architectural leadership from discovery through solutioning and acting as the senior technical voice with clients.

This hands-on leadership role keeps you close to technology—cloud, full stack, automation and AI—while building capability, shaping career paths and scaling the practice for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ Australian-based experience leading technical teams.
• Career built in technical delivery that matured into leading teams.
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on credibility across cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), full stack development (Java) and automation platforms (Blue Prism, UiPath).
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled delivery tools such as Claude and Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mivada’s ACE practice — onshore and offshore team of 43 engineers and specialists.
• Provide technical and solution architecture leadership across programs from discovery through solutioning.
• Own Mivada’s cloud infrastructure capability across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Set the standard for full stack development practice across the team (Java and mobile).
• Grow automation capability with RPA platforms (Blue Prism, UiPath) and AI-enabled delivery tools (Claude, Copilot).
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships including executives and program managers.
• Partner with the CTO on technical strategy, resourcing and capability planning.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced technology leader to run Mivada’s Automation, Cloud & Engineering (ACE) practice — the team that builds and operates the cloud, full stack and automation solutions behind our clients’ programs.

This is a Leadership Team role reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. You’ll lead an onshore and offshore practice of 43 full stack engineers, cloud specialists and automation experts, provide technical and solution architecture leadership from discovery through solutioning, and be the senior technical voice in front of clients — executives, architects, program managers and business stakeholders alike.

It’s a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll stay close enough to the technology — cloud, full stack development, automation and AI — to set direction with credibility, while building the capability and career paths that enables the practice to scale.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Mivada’s ACE practice — an onshore and offshore team of 43 full stack engineers, cloud specialists and automation experts.
• Provide technical and solution architecture leadership across programs, from discovery through solutioning.
• Own Mivada’s cloud infrastructure capability — build, architecture and management across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Set the standard for full stack development practice across the team, including Java and mobile application development.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 8 years’ Australian based experience leading technical teams.
• A career built in technical delivery — hands‑on engineering, cloud or automation work — that has matured into leading the teams that do it.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Hands‑on credibility across cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), full stack development (Java and equivalent), and automation platforms (Blue Prism, UiPath or similar).
• Working knowledge of AI‑enabled delivery tools such as Claude and Copilot.
• Clear track record managing client and stakeholder relationships, including at executive and lead architect level.
• Confidence leading a blended onshore/offshore team and building capability across both.

Highly regarded

• Cloud certifications across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience standing up or maturing an automation or AI‑enabled delivery capability.
• Automation tool certification across Blue Prism and UiPath or similar.
