Job summary

Talent in Canberra is seeking a hands-on developer to build a large-scale digital portal using Power Platform and Dynamics 365, alongside modern full-stack technologies, APIs and cloud services. Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Full-stack development across C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Experience integrating front-end with backend services.
• Experience with Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD.

Job description

• Build and enhance a large-scale digital portal using Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and modern full-stack technologies
• 12-month contract + 2 x 12-month extension options
• Canberra-based | Hybrid working
• Must hold a current Baseline security clearance or higher

Join an established development team working on a digital portal that continues to expand with new services and functionality.

This is a hands‑on development role combining Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 with traditional full‑stack engineering. You’ll work across Power Pages, Dataverse, JavaScript/TypeScript and C#/.NET, integrating front‑end applications with backend and Azure services.

The Role

You’ll work within a small, collaborative project team, contributing to the ongoing development and expansion of an established digital platform.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Developing solutions across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power Pages
• Building front‑end functionality using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern frameworks such as Vue.js
• Developing and integrating backend services using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL
• Building integrations using Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate
• Contributing to application architecture, reusable components, source control and CI/CD practices through Azure DevOps

About You

We’re particularly interested in:

• Strong hands‑on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform, including Power Pages
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS development skills
• Full‑stack development experience across C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL
• Experience integrating front‑end applications with backend services
• Experience with Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps and Power Automate
• Experience working with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components
• Good understanding of Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaborative delivery skills

Experience with Vue.js is particularly relevant, while exposure to Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent‑based solutions would also be highly regarded. Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI are desirable.
