Job summary

Solara Digital is seeking a Software Engineer to drive a high-visibility digital transformation portal program, focusing on front-end and full-stack architecture behind Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure-integrated solutions. You will own what you build and work within a small, agile team.

Based in Canberra, you will lead a tight-knit IT project team, partner with the business, and deliver robust software that sharpens data capability and streamlines regulatory services delivered online.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full-stack solutions with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Proficiency with Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform (Power Pages).
• Ability to work with Azure, DevOps, CI/CD and API integrations.
• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving in multidisciplinary teams.
• Baseline Security Clearance required; Canberra-based role.
• Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee software development projects and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
• Write optimised, high-quality code and take responsibility for the functionality of everything your team ships.
• Build solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Deliver full-stack solutions with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Work with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies - API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Apply established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, using Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary delivery team, bringing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to every conversation.

You'll bring technical leadership to a small, high-performing IT project team that works hand-in-glove with the business - writing optimised code, overseeing development quality, and shaping the front-end and full-stack architecture behind Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure-integrated solutions. • Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, including Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.

You are required to be based in Canberra and already have Baseline Security Clearance in order to qualify for this role.
