Cummins Australia is offering a 13-month full-time undergraduate internship for Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering students at our Wetherill Park office in Sydney. This paid placement commences 27 January 2027, with exposure to Power Generation projects and engineering support.

You will work on CAD modelling, project documentation, and customer-facing tasks while deferring studies for the duration.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• 1–8 units of study left as of January 2027
• Available for full 13 months and willing to defer studies
• Strong math and Excel skills with VBA experience a plus
• Interest in power generation, applications and project documentation
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders

Aufgaben

• Support the Power Generation Engineering Team with daily tasks on Power Generation projects
• Assist with product engineering support and analysis of installations per manuals
• Participate in project engineering tasks including tender submissions documentation
• Support release of new products and compliance audits for the region
• Respond to technical queries from internal and external customers
• Create CAD models and layouts as required (SLDs, site layouts)
• Collaborate across departments and with customers to achieve outcomes
