Job summary

Cummins in Sydney's Wetherill Park office leads a growing Power Generation team, providing technical leadership and application engineering support for critical infrastructure sectors. You will work with customers, consulting engineers, EPC contractors, and regional teams to deliver high-performance, cost-effective power solutions.

The role requires delivering engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation, reviewing designs for compliance with Australian Standards, and guiding

Qualifications

• Washington Accord recognised bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in power generation or related.
• Experience delivering technical solutions for data centres, healthcare, mining, commercial buildings, utilities, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions for diesel and gas generator systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, single line diagrams, system architecture, equipment schedules, and engineering documentation.
• Evaluate customer specifications and provide technical compliance, deviations, and value engineering recommendations.
• Support tender submissions by preparing technical proposals and ensuring solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-site expertise during installation and commissioning of equipment and ensure high quality, safe solutions.
