Job summary

Paxus is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support business and operational decision-making. The role requires 3–5+ years of BI experience and strong SQL, DAX, and data modelling skills.

You will integrate data from various sources, collaborate with analysts and engineers, and contribute to BI best practices and documentation. Experience with Power BI Service and Azure data services is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years' experience in Power BI development, BI, data analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Solid SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, analysis and validation.
• Experience with Power BI Service including workspaces, scheduled refreshes, gateways, access management and deployment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse or Databricks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and reporting needs into effective Power BI solutions and data models.
• Develop and optimise semantic models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Contribute to reporting standards, reusable components, documentation, and continuous improvement of BI practices.
