Job summary

Araza is seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer to design and build Power Apps solutions across the Power Platform for Australian clients, including Hobart. You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive integration with Power BI components, and implement multi-tool automation.

Requirements include strong Power Apps expertise, Canvas/Model‑Driven Apps, and Power Fx. The role supports a dynamic federal‑state project portfolio and architectural governance.

Qualifications

Qualifications in computer science or information systems with relevant work experience.
Expertise with Power Apps and the Power Platform.
Experience with Power BI and data tools.
Experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and the Power FX language.
Familiarity with Dataverse, SQL Server or SharePoint.
Experience building multi-step workflows with Power Automate.
Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs and C# for custom plugins.

Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer

Contract Length: 6 months + 2 x 12 month extensions

Location of work: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney

Key Responsibilities

Working with key stakeholders to design and build Power Apps applications
Working across the Power BI stack primarily using Power BI, SSAS, SSRS and SSIS
Working across the Power Platform to integrate applications
Working closely with the business to capture and validate requirements
Utilising a range of languages including TypeScript, HTML/CSS, C#, JavaScript, CSS, SQL and other JavaScript libraries

About You

Qualifications in computer science or information systems, along with work experience in a related field
excellent experience in Power Apps and the broader power platform
experience working with other tools such as Power BI and data tools
Experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and the Power FX formula language.
Ability to structure data using Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, or SharePoint
Workflow Automation experience, building multi-step cloud flows, triggers, and custom connectors using Power Automate.
Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and C# for custom plugins or PCF
Understanding and experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and solution deployment best practices.
Experience working closely with the business to capture and validate requirements
Strong can-do attitude and ability to take on other broad project related activities to support the overall team and projects
