Job summary

Rocky Bay seeks an experienced Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Positive Behaviour Support Team. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting to support people with behaviours of concern, delivering high-quality, person-centred practice and contributing to best-practice outcomes.

We offer flexible work arrangements, a 9-day fortnight option, and pathways for training, supervision and professional development within a supportive PBS environment across Perth Metro.

Qualifications

• NDIS registration at Proficient/Advanced/Specialist level with minimum 2 years’ experience as a Positive Behaviour Practitioner.
• Relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or another Allied Health discipline with current registration.
• Experience supervising and mentoring Core PBS Practitioners within the NDIS framework.
• Experience supporting people with complex behaviours using person-centred, trauma-informed approaches.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and application across home and community settings.
• Ability to develop and deliver training, coaching, and capacity-building for staff, providers and families.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement to understand individual needs and drivers of behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Support the professional development and supervision of PBS staff.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to inform assessments and support planning.
