Job summary

Ampol Limited is seeking a Systems Analyst to own and optimize its POS platforms across the retail network, ensuring smooth transaction processing and data integrity. You will lead requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment, partnering with vendors and internal teams to drive continuous improvement.

You'll work in a hybrid setup with opportunities to influence roadmap, deliver solutions, and support store-level operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience supporting POS applications within retail environments.
• Experience with API integrations and data flows between POS and downstream systems.
• Ability to create, review and maintain data mapping documents and interface specs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex application, integration and data quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical SME for Ampol's POS applications and integrations.
• Perform analysis, configuration, testing, and support of POS systems and interfaces.
• Develop understanding of end-to-end retail transaction flows and master data processes.
• Support delivery through requirements analysis, solution design input, and deployment support.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues with vendors and internal teams.
• Build relationships with vendors and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Manage Jira backlogs, user stories, defects, workflows and artefacts.
