About the role:

The Systems Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the retail and merchandising domain. This roleis responsible foranalysing, diagnosing, and resolving complex applications and data issues. Leveraging deepexpertisein retail and merchandising systems, the Analyst collaborates with business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams to deliver actionable insights, drive continuous improvement, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business decision-making and troubleshoot application or data anomalies.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, coordinating with vendors and internal technology teams to ensuretimelyand effective solutions.
• Engage with business users to understand andanalyserequirements, translating them into technical specifications or improvement opportunities.
• Assess incoming requests with a critical mindset, constructively challenging assumptions to uncover underlying business needs and deliver value-driven outcomes.
• Propose application and reporting improvements to enhance service levels and operational efficiencies.
• Provide SME input and support to project teamsimpactingApplication or across areas of Process/Domain leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of Retail/Merchandising/Inventory application functionality(WithBlue Yonderor equivalent)
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities toidentify, analyse and resolve technology challenges in response to business and ICT requirements.
• Strong SQL Skills.
• Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present in accessible form.
• Ability to express concepts, terminologies, and highly technical content in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to weigh different solutions or approaches, provide guidance around tradeoffsandrisks, andidentifyunderlying needs and future enhancements
