Zusammenfassung

CHU is seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead pricing insights and profitability across our data-driven underwriting portfolio. You will optimise pricing, coverage and product strategies while driving growth and efficiency through automation and data sources.

You will collaborate with underwriting, sales and marketing to strengthen portfolio performance and customer outcomes, using analytics to guide decisions and KPIs to measure impact.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of General Insurance experience across underwriting, portfolio management, pricing, actuarial or product.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel, SQL, Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Proven success developing pricing strategies that balance growth and profitability.
• Experience with automated underwriting, rules engines or digital underwriting platforms.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to turn data insights into business.
• Familiarity with strata / property insurance lines.

Aufgaben

• Drive portfolio growth through analysis of new business, retention, market share and sales funnel performance, identifying opportunities across segments and channels.
• Develop and optimise pricing, cover and product strategies to balance growth, customer needs and portfolio profitability.
• Lead underwriting automation initiatives, reducing manual intervention through improved rules, referral management and data-driven decision making.
• Explore and utilise new data sources to enhance risk selection, customer experience and underwriting efficiency.
• Partner across underwriting, sales and marketing to create feedback loops that strengthen portfolio performance and risk outcomes.
• Define requirements for underwriting tools, dashboards and reporting, while establishing KPIs to measure the impact of pricing, product and automation initiatives.
