Crystalbrook Riley in Cairns is seeking a Porter to greet guests, assist with luggage and departures, and collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure each guest experience feels seamless and sincere.

This part-time, permanent position offers 16-24 hours per week across a 7-day roster, requiring a warm personality, strong communication and neat presentation in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service or porter/valet experience in a hotel or luxury setting.
• Natural warmth, professional polish and polished presentation.
• Ability to be on your feet, lift luggage and work on a rotating roster.

The Opportunity:

As a Porter, you will be the friendly face who welcomes guests on arrival, assists with luggage and departures, whilst ensuring every interaction feels seamless and sincere. Working closely with the Front Office team, you will take pride in making every guest feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.

This role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis offering 16-24 hours per week across a 7-day roster

To be considered for this position, you willbring previous experience in a guest service or porter role within a hotel or luxury environment, along with a natural warmth and professional polish. Your confident communication, attention to detail and pride in presentation will make you an integral part of our Front Office team.

• Previous experience in a guest service, porter or valet role within a hotel or luxury environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an authentic, engaging style
• A calm, reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of handling luggage and being on your feet throughout the shift
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Impeccable presentation and grooming, reflecting a luxury hotel standard
