Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide invites a friendly Porter to join our opening team. This part-time role offers 16–24 hours per week, and you’ll be a welcoming first face for guests, helping with arrivals, luggage, and parking while delivering genuine hospitality.

You’ll share local insights, anticipate guest needs, and collaborate across the hotel to create a polished, personalised Crystalbrook experience in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• A valid driver licence and ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an engaging, approachable personality.
• Genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Confidence to engage with guests from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Professional presentation, positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay organized, adaptable and composed in a busy hotel environment.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Hospitality experience in luxury settings is valued, but guest-first mindset is essential.

We are looking for an engaging, personable and guest-focused Porter to join our opening team and help bring the Crystalbrook Sam experience to life.

As one of the first faces our guests meet and one of the last they remember, you will play an important role in shaping their experience. From a warm welcome and a seamless arrival to thoughtful recommendations and those unexpected moments of delight, you will help make every stay memorable.

The Opportunity:

This is a part-time position offering approximately 16–24 hours per week, ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys meeting people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Working alongside our Front Office team, you will:

• Create memorable first impressions, welcoming guests with warmth, confidence and genuine personality.
• Assist with guest arrivals and departures, luggage handling and vehicle movements, ensuring every experience feels seamless.
• Safely park, retrieve and manoeuvre guest vehicles, including both manual and automatic cars.

You will have:

• A current, valid driver licence and the confidence and ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
