Crystalbrook Riley in Cairns seeks a friendly Porter to welcome guests, help with luggage and departures, and ensure every interaction feels seamless. The position is part-time, offering 16-24 hours per week across a 7-day roster, working closely with the Front Office team.

The ideal candidate has guest-service experience in luxury environments, strong communication, and a polished presentation. Physical fitness for luggage handling and weekend shifts is essential.

The Opportunity:

As a Porter, you will be the friendly face who welcomes guests on arrival, assists with luggage and departures, whilst ensuring every interaction feels seamless and sincere. Working closely with the Front Office team, you will take pride in making every guest feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.

This role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis offering 16-24 hours per week across a 7-day roster

To be considered for this position, you willbring previous experience in a guest service or porter role within a hotel or luxury environment, along with a natural warmth and professional polish. Your confident communication, attention to detail and pride in presentation will make you an integral part of our Front Office team.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an authentic, engaging style
• A calm, reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of handling luggage and being on your feet throughout the shift
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
