Job summary

Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park is seeking an energetic Porter to join our Concierge Team. You will welcome guests, carry luggage, park and retrieve guest cars, and escort guests to their rooms while explaining the facilities of the hotel.

Good written and spoken English is required, a valid driver's license is essential, and knowledge of the local area is helpful. Prior hotel or Serviced apartment experience is preferred, with opportunities for career growth and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a hotel or serviced apartments environment preferred.
• Good levels of written and spoken English.
• Sound knowledge of the local area.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with luggage.

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic Porter, who is service oriented with an eye for detail to join our Concierge Team.

Our Porters are responsible for welcoming guests, carrying luggage, parking andretrieval of guest cars, escorting guests to their rooms, explaining the facilities of thehotel, providing tourism information and dining/entertainment recommendations toour Guests.
