Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking a Pool Lifeguard to join the Aquatic Operations team. Based at our swim centres across the LGA, you will help deliver safe, clean, and welcoming facilities for patrons and hirers, supervised by the Aquatic Operations Supervisor.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 70-hour fort-night, access to the nine-day fortnight RDO, and opportunities for training, development, and staff wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Current WWCC clearance.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Licence.
• Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
• Current HLTAID009 Provide CPR.
• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise aquatic facilities to ensure safety and quality.
• Provide patrons and hirers with high-quality customer service.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming and well-presented facility.
• Assist with program delivery and daily operations as required.
