Job summary

ASC is seeking a PMO Assurance Lead to shape a new capability within the Transformation Office. This 24-month fixed-term contract offers broad exposure across a diverse portfolio and close collaboration with senior stakeholders to drive governance, assurance and delivery improvements.

Reporting to the PMO Assurance Manager in Adelaide, you will deliver independent assurance, governance insights and reporting while supporting continuous improvement of project delivery practices across ASC’s

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience within PMO, Project Management, Program Management, Governance or Assurance environments.
• Experience supporting complex business or digital transformation initiatives.
• Qualifications in Project Management, Business, Governance, Risk Management or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as PMI-PMOCP, PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, P3O or equivalent are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent assurance and governance services across Corporate and Digital Transformation programs and projects.
• Conduct project, program and portfolio assurance reviews, including health checks and delivery confidence assessments.
• Monitor compliance with ASC policies, standards, governance requirements and the Transformation Office Delivery Framework.
• Assess the effectiveness of project controls across scope, schedule, financial management, risk and benefits management.
• Prepare assurance reports and governance insights for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Support identification, assessment and escalation of project and program risks and issues.
• Review benefits realisation planning, measurement and reporting to support business outcomes.
• Develop and improve PMO assurance methodologies, frameworks and templates.
• Contribute to establishing and growing the PMO Assurance capability.
• Provide guidance to project/program managers on governance and controls.
• Support external assurance reviews and audits when required.
• Build relationships with internal, implementation and external assurance partners across initiatives.
• Support portfolio-level reporting and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
