IT Alliance is seeking a Program Management Office (PMO) Assurance Officer to join our Federal Government client in Canberra, with roles extending to Brisbane and Melbourne. The role focuses on maintaining robust PMO assurance across multiple locations and delivering timely reporting on delivery health and risks.

The position emphasizes monitoring risk treatments, supporting financial performance assurance, readiness assessments, and portfolio trend analysis to safeguard project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring risk treatments and reporting obligations.
• Experience supporting assurance activities around project finances and funding.
• Familiarity with readiness assessments and evidence collection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor risk treatments, mitigation actions and reporting obligations to support effective risk management practices.
• Support assurance activities relating to project financial performance, forecasting, affordability and funding utilisation.
• Support readiness assessments by collecting evidence, monitoring assurance actions and maintaining assurance records.
• Support project and program health assessments through the collection and analysis of delivery performance information.
• Contribute to portfolio performance reporting and identification of trends affecting delivery outcomes.
