Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on PMO and governance support across an initiative's lifecycle.
• Drive adoption of delivery standards and governance requirements.
• Perform Line 1 delivery assurance and quality checks (status, schedules, milestones, RAIDD).
• Maintain portfolio data quality in Planview and close data-quality gaps.
• Develop and maintain portfolio reporting and insights for governance forums and senior management.
• Maintain governance records and artefacts across the portfolio.
• Support resource forecasting, timesheet monitoring and financial governance.
• Onboard Planview users and validate resources.
• Collaborate with Portfolio and Delivery Leaders on governance guidance and adoption.
• Identify and escalate delivery and governance concerns for remediation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across PMO, governance, reporting and portfolio management.

A leading global insurer is looking for a PMO Senior Analyst to provide hands-on PMO, governance and delivery support across an assigned portfolio, helping to de-risk initiatives and enable successful delivery outcomes. You will support consistent application of the organisation’s Delivery Management Playbook, Enterprise Delivery Standards and agreed governance requirements across the initiative lifecycle, covering portfolio governance, Line 1 delivery assurance, reporting, data quality in Planview, and resource and financial governance support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands-on PMO and governance support, including initiative establishment, governance classification, lifecycle management and stage-gate requirements
• Drive consistent adoption of delivery standards and governance requirements, supporting Delivery Managers and delivery teams
• Perform Line 1 delivery assurance and quality checks, including oversight of status, schedules, milestones, RAIDD and logbook information, and coordinate remediation and escalation where needed
• Maintain the quality, completeness and coherence of portfolio information in Planview, working with delivery teams to close data-quality gaps
• Develop and maintain portfolio reporting and insights to support governance forums, senior management and decision-making
• Maintain documentation and records management across the portfolio, keeping governance and delivery artefacts complete, current and appropriately stored
• Support portfolio planning and controls, including resource demand and forecasting, timesheet monitoring, and financial and forecast coherence
• Support Planview user and resource governance, including onboarding and resource validation
• Partner with Portfolio and Delivery Leaders, Delivery Managers and key stakeholders on governance guidance and adoption of agreed ways of working
• Identify and escal material delivery and governance concerns, and support timely remediation
• Contribute to continuous improvement and capability uplift across PMO, governance, reporting and portfolio management practices
• Relevant experience in PMO, portfolio governance, project/programme delivery or a related delivery-management discipline
• Experience supporting project or programme governance, reporting, planning and delivery controls
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across delivery teams and senior stakeholders
• Tertiary degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience in PMO and project/portfolio governance within a complex delivery environment
