Job summary

New Tech Logistics is a 24/7 refrigerated transport and warehouse business operating on the east coast of Australia with our own sites in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. New Tech Logistics in Archerfield, Brisbane is seeking an experienced PM shift Operations Supervisor to lead the afternoon/evening shift and ensure drivers, vehicles and deliveries operate safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or refrigerated transport.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of delivery operations and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of WHS, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of PM operations.
• Experience with temperature-controlled freight is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PM transport operations and drivers.
• Manage daily delivery schedules and respond to operational issues.
• Ensure refrigerated freight is handled correctly and temperature requirements are maintained.
• Monitor driver performance, fatigue management and compliance.
• Coordinate vehicle availability, servicing and operational requirements.
• Communicate with customers, drivers and the wider operations team.
• Manage late deliveries, breakdowns and other issues as they arise.
• Complete shift handovers and operational reporting.
• Ensure company policies, WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements are followed.
• Lead and support drivers to maintain a high standard of service.

We have enjoyed significant growth in recent years and are looking for an experienced and hands on PM shift Operations Supervisor to join our strong and dedicated team in based in Archerfield, Brisbane.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the afternoon/evening shift ensuring our drivers, vehicles and deliveries are operating safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate PM transport operations and drivers

Manage daily delivery schedules and respond to operational issues

Ensure refrigerated freight is handled correctly and temperature requirements are maintained

Monitor driver performance, fatigue management and compliance

Coordinate vehicle availability, servicing and operational requirements

Communicate with customers, drivers and the wider operations team

Manage late deliveries, breakdowns and other issues as they arise

Complete shift handovers and operational reporting

Ensure company policies, WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements are followed

About You:

Previous experience in transport, logistics or refrigerated transport

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
