Job summary

Minus 1 NSW seeks a PM Shift Fleet Allocator to coordinate refrigerated transport for LTL and FTL networks from Minchinbury. The role targets on-time delivery, fleet utilisation, and service reliability in a dynamic setting.

You will plan daily allocations, monitor live ops, and liaise with drivers, warehouses and customers to meet schedules. Shift 12:00pm–8:00pm with extra hours and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in refrigerated transport allocation (LTL & FTL preferred).
• Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive freight handling.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily fleet operations across LTL and FTL networks, ensuring efficient vehicle and driver utilisation.
• Monitor live operations to maintain on-time delivery performance and address service issues proactively.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve delivery challenges.
• Ensure CoR, Fatigue Management, and Mass Management compliance at all times.
• Validate load plans, manifests, and run sheets prior to dispatch.
• Collaborate with allocation and operations teams to ensure seamless shift handovers and service continuity.
• Monitor and manage overtime and subcontractor usage to maintain cost efficiency.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to safety and performance initiatives.
• Support and coach new drivers and team members to uphold Minus 1’s service standards.
