Job summary

Modus Projects is seeking an experienced plumber for full-time work servicing sites across Penrith, Blue Mountains and surrounding areas. You will handle reactive and preventative maintenance on commercial plumbing systems, travelling to diverse sites daily and contributing to after-hours rosters as required.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in commercial maintenance plumbing with mandatory Backflow TMV endorsements and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial maintenance plumbing.
• Backflow Prevention and/or TMV endorsement – Essential.
• Current Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and preventative maintenance across multiple client environments.
• Attend sites across Retail, Banking, Education, Fuel and Convenience, Health and Fitness, Corporate, Hospitality, Government and Petroleum sectors.
• Be available for a 24/7 rotating on-call roster and overtime as required.
• Travel within a 200km radius from Penrith/Blue Mountains.

About the Role
As part of our national expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis.

You’ll be on the road, attending a variety of sites throughout the day, including Retail, Banking, education, fuel and convenience, health and fitness, corporate, hospitality, Government, and Petroleum sites.

This role is focused on reactive and preventative maintenance across multiple client environments.

This role will also be required to do overtime when required and be part of an after-hours Roster to meet our client needs.

Locations we are recruiting for:

Penrith or Blue Mountains - Candidate will be travelling within a 200km radius from this location

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial maintenance plumbing
• Backflow Prevention and/or Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) – Essential endorsement (mandatory)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• A practical, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call roster (mandatory)
