Job summary

Modus Projects is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple locations, including Bendigo. The role involves travel between sites, after-hours roster work, and installation tasks, supported by a central coordinator and head office team.

You will need formal HVAC qualifications, a current ARCtick license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work safely on commercial systems.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration (Certificate III/IV).
• ARCtick National license for fluorocarbon refrigerants.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven HVAC technician experience, preferably in commercial systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• National police check and medical assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Travel between various job sites daily, including Retail and Petroleum locations.
• Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative & reactive maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Co-ordinate with head office and receive support from a dedicated coordinator.
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and project managers to complete HVAC projects.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide detailed service reports.

About the Role

As part of our national expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable HVAC Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis in various locations.

This role will also be required to do overtime when required and be part of an after-hours Roster to meet our client needs.

You will be responsible for:

• You will travel between various job sites daily, including Retail and Petroleum locations.
• Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative & reactive maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Our dedicated head office team will manage your schedule, and you will have support from your own coordinator.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and project managers to complete HVAC projects efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain clear communication with clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed, including reports and service documentation.

Locations we are recruiting for:

• Bendigo - Candidate will be travelling within a 200km radius from this location

Key Requirements:

• Formal qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration, such as a Certificate III or IV in Airconditioning & Refrigeration
• Current ARCtick National license for fluorocarbon refrigerants
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably a background in commercial HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process
