Job summary

Modus Projects in Australia is seeking a skilled commercial plumber to manage reactive and planned maintenance, repairs and construction activities across multiple sites. You will work with clients to meet targets and ensure high workmanship.

Requirements include a Plumbing, Draining and Gas Fitting License, Working at Heights, White Card, First Aid, Police Check and a valid driver's licence. You will have 3–5 years' experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and strong communication and

Qualifications

• Plumbing, Draining and Gas Fitting License required.
• Working at Heights certification preferred.
• Elevated Work Platform certification preferred.
• Police Check required.
• First Aid Certificate required.
• Driver's Licence required.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Strong communication (written and verbal)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• 3–5 years' experience in commercial plumbing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all aspects of the Plumbing Trade across reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, repair services and construction activities.
• Perform activities to a high standard of workmanship.
• Assist in servicing assets to protect client assets and community from hazards.
• Engage utilities and service providers for inspections, approvals and fault identification.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates and quotations.
• Record all costs related to labour and materials.

Job description

Undertake all aspects of the Plumbing Trade, including but not limited to; reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, repair services and construction activities across a broad range of sites for clients of Modus Projects to meet the specified targets.

Key responsibilities

Undertake all activities to high standard of workmanship

Assist in servicing assets in accordance with relevant standards to protect client assets and the community from potential hazards

Utilise external resources as required to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner

Engage all relevant utilities and service providers for inspections, approvals and identification of faults

Use initiative to solve problems that arise on site to complete tasks efficiently

Assess the adequacy of information contained in requests

Complete works with minimum disruption to client operations

Undertake works to agreed service standards

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates and quotations

Accurately record all costs in relation to labour time and materials

About you

Plumbing, Draining and Gas Fitting License
