Job summary

CAB Plumbing is seeking an experienced Senior Plumber to join our Sydney team. You’ll lead on-site maintenance at commercial sites, provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices, and manage your own workload while upholding CAB Plumbing’s high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

Key requirements include an Australian Plumbing Trade Qualification, extensive commercial maintenance experience, strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian Plumbing Trade Qualification.
• Extensive experience in commercial maintenance plumbing.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working independently across commercial sites.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Current White Card and current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
• Working With Children Check and Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Zip and Billi systems, Backflow/TMV licensing advantageous.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Plumber, you'll be an important part of our Sydney team, providing technical support and guidance to other plumbers while also managing your own workload and attending a range of commercial sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and assisting other plumbers with technical advice, fault finding and problem solving
• Providing guidance and mentoring to other plumbers and apprentices
• Being a point of contact for other plumbers when assistance is required in the field
• Leading by example and maintaining CAB Plumbing's high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service
• Commercial plumbing maintenance and reactive service work
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
• Base building maintenance
• Sewer and drain blockages
• Plumbing and gas servicing and repairs
• Roof leak investigations and repairs
• Installation and servicing of Zip and Billi systems
• Preventative maintenance for major commercial clients
• Identifying and recommending solutions to clients and site representatives
• Completing quality job reports, photos and documentation
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Working closely with the Operations Team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to CAB Plumbing's standards

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Senior Plumber who brings experience, professionalism, leadership and a strong customer focus.

You'll ideally have:

• Australian Plumbing Trade Qualification
• Extensive experience in commercial maintenance plumbing
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience working independently across commercial sites
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to confidently liaise with clients, facility managers and site representatives
• Current White Card
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Backflow and TMV accreditation – advantageous but not essential
• Gas servicing experience/licensing – advantageous
• Experience with Zip and Billi systems – advantageous
