Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a QA automation consultant to design and maintain Playwright-based testing frameworks for modern web apps. You will implement end-to-end UI automation across multiple browsers and develop API automation tests, ensuring robust CI/CD integration and high quality releases.

The role requires hands-on Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, strong UI testing experience, and familiarity with test data management and automation patterns. Agile delivery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Playwright experience for test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• UI automation testing for web applications.
• Strong API testing concepts and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of test data management and framework patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based automation frameworks.
• Implement end-to-end UI automation across browsers.
• Develop and run API automation tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with dev teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure test coverage, stability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
• Participate in test planning, reviews, and QA process improvements.
• Maintain version-controlled test assets and follow automation best practices.
