Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a QA automation consultant to design and maintain Playwright-based testing frameworks for modern web apps. You will implement end-to-end UI automation across multiple browsers and develop API automation tests, ensuring robust CI/CD integration and high quality releases.

The role requires hands-on Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, strong UI testing experience, and familiarity with test data management and automation patterns. Agile delivery experience is preferred.

The role focuses on implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions for modern web applications using Playwright. The consultant will work closely with development and QA teams to design scalable UI and API automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high software quality within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Implement end-to-end UI automation for web applications across multiple browsers.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Playwright or related tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure high test coverage, stability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
• Participate in test planning, test reviews, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Maintain version-controlled test assets and follow automation best practices.

SKILLS

Must have

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
